We are sorry to announce that Apple has decided to stop taking submissions of new iTunes LPs. Existing LPs will still be supported on Apple store, but will stop being downloaded and synced. If you used iTunes Match to download the additional content you would not be able to do it anymore.
It has been announced by Apple that they will no longer be accepting new LP submissions altogether, and existing LP will no longer be synced. If you want to ensure that your iTunes LP content not corrupt in the future, you can take ownership of your music and transfer it to iCloud Music Library so that it can be synced again.
You can also back up your purchased iTunes LP with any other type of media, including WAV, AIFF and MP3 files. If you do not backup your music library, iCloud back up will be the last chance to save it before it becomes unsynced and corrupts.
Apple stopped accepting new submissions of iTunes LPs after March 2018. Existing LPs will be deprecated from the store during the remainder of 2018. Customers who have previously purchased an album containing an iTunes LP will still be able to download the additional content using iTunes Match. d2c66b5586
