If I may comment on learning analog ropes as mentioned in the article. I purchased one of TI India's ASLK Pro boards, which I think is a brilliant idea and much needed, but concerning the area of why students find learning analog systems difficult is couched in not following through down to the details, at least in the beginning. Of course, the issue is how do you present solutions to differential equations so that the student can follow the discussion and absorb the knowledge? The videos that Dr. C.P. Ravikumar made are very good. He really covers the subject well. But when I go to apply this information to the actual board, there is difficulty, because none of the experiments show actual values of components that give you the results you expect. I found I had to refer to other texts to get "in the zone" to get the circuits to behave. That takes a lot of patients and frustration. If the processes pointed out by Dr. Ravikumar were taken down to the level of picking the component values to make the circuits perform, then a full understanding of how they work could be realized. When you do that, you will find the board needs to have some of the component values adjusted to get the circuit to perform up to the experiment presented. Anyway, my point is a complete path from theory through how to simplify and interpret the complex math down to the component level, which values to use, would give the student satisfaction of completing the circle. Without this further effort, some will give up and conclude all of this is too difficult to grasp. 2b1af7f3a8
