PS: who wants to give me the URLs to those torrent files? I'm not going to email you a list and I don't have a list of torrents sitting around, so if you're willing to give them to me directly you can do so by emailing me privately and I'll add you to the list.
The source tarball, installer, and documentation are available for download from the http://www.pycassa.org/download/ . I have also created a patch to remove the hardcoded unicode strings in the installer, which will be included in a future version. You can also download the latest source code from SVN and build the latest releases. The latter should be a bit more stable than the source tarball, since it will build both binary releases for Python 2.4 and 2.5.
I'm still wondering why this version is required. I checked out the svn version and it's very simple, and I don't see why it would be required for the final release. From my understanding, the hardcoded subs are only needed if you plan on using the DVD version, which the main archive doesn't include. I'd like to think they would just be removed (they should be), so I've created a patch that does just that.
And, if you're interested in the OST, you can download it from here:!Py5w0I6C!iCgPWZF1eyIx2Qhq9-hQAnd, if you're interested in the OST, you can download it from here:!Py5w0I6C!iCgPWZF1eyIx2Qhq9-hQNot sure if this is the right place to post this info, but hey, if it's not, I'll delete it later.
NOTE: I have yet to do any extensive testing of the subs. So, I can't guarantee these will work. If you see any problems, just post below and I'll try to get to it ASAP. If you're a masochist and can't wait that long, get the original. It's great.
One of the drawbacks to this approach was that we needed to recompile every time we made even a small change to the code. This slowed everything else we were doing down and because we couldn't always have someone waiting for the application to finish building. 827ec27edc
